They must have gone crazy, too desperate to conquer lands and nations.

China TV claims Philippines as Chinese Territory

THIS SEEMS TO BE A VERY FASCINATING STATEMENT TO BE AGREED UPON BY SEEMINGLY BRAINLESS MORONS.

Sorry for the harsh words but I have my stand. China has been bullying the country for such length of time. Apparently, their desperate desires of claiming the Scarborough Shoal has not only become irritating, annoying, and incredibly disturbing, but it has just gone too far that they’re becoming too vainglorious for their misbehavior and bullying. It’s too illogical, irrational and superlatively ignorant to say that Philippines is a Chinese Territory because first and foremost, this country is sovereign. And by sovereign, it means free of external control. What part of free from external control do you not comprehend?! Do we terribly need to throw on a dictionary for that?!

Despicable. If it’s patriotism that these Chinese are giving significance of, does it necessarily mean that they put their hearts out for their love of the country and rather terminate the mere intelligence they have inside their brains? I repeat, despicable. Greedy people, indeed.

And what annoys me more is the international community who seem to be stagnant about addressing a resolution for the dispute between the two countries. If this persists, China will continue its insolence. Resolutions must be made as soon as possible before predicaments turn to worst, or in other words, disputes turn to war.

Hi ‘real’ life, I missed you.

By real, I mean productive blogging, attentive facebooking, incessant picture-taking, the countless posting of random photos in every social networking sites, coffee break, liquor sessions, and most importantly, the world-without-end time of ample sleep. Gully. I see myself incredibly soulless this time. North Korea and Miguel de Unamuno’s Nada Menos Que Un Hombre have both apparently strangled this kind of life I’m talking about. Truth is, I’m annoyed, and in one way or another, jealous of seeing random posts on Facebook of how incredibly other people are enjoying their summer escapades while I see myself tortured by Summer School. But then again, sacrifices must be made. Regrets were done; curses were cast out by mouth; and it’s shallow if I keep myself jailed on what happened from the wickedness life deluged me from the past. Oh God. I can’t imagine how my summer can be this grim. One week—just one fvckin’ week more—then I can thoroughly breathe again.

SORRY PEOPLE BUT WITH REGARDS TO CHINA VS. PHILIPPINES ISSUES, THE U.S. WILL NOT DEFEND FOR US.

I’m just pissed about people who are apparently gullible about this issue.

Sure we see a lot of manifestations that U.S. is there to reach out a hand for us. Agreements are made. Contracts are signed. Strong ties can be observed. But with China in the picture, you still think that U.S. will help us?. I DOUBT. I STRONGLY DOUBT.

History tells us that America has betrayed us even before and it can possibly happen again. During the outbreak of the Spanish-American War in 1898, betrayal was made when the U.S. sold us to the Spaniards. At that time, it promised to lend out a hand in freeing us from Spanish tyranny, to protect Filipinos and to give guidance in creating a government of our own. But what happened after Admiral Dewey’s fleet was captured? The admiral sold us to the Spaniards. U.S. betrayed us. Why? Let’s just put it into these words: Spain was a power, a superior power.

History leaves us a lesson to never give our full trust and assurance to U.S.

History can repeat itself. Betrayal can repeat itself.

Let’s put it this way. China, as we know, is a super power in the world. It has a large economy. It is even predicted to surpass U.S. in the years to come. With China being a dominion and Philippines being the opposite of such, do you think U.S. will still be on our side?

Let’s put it in a different scenario, imagine yourself as a person who needs money, will you go for someone who has cold cash in his six pockets, or will you go for someone who has holes in his pocket and needs ten times more money than you? Of course, with stupidity out in the way, you’ll surely pick the former.

U.S. has the aim of preserving its own national interest. It strives to maintain its superpower. And in order to do such, it will do anything and even everything to prolong its hegemony. With such logic, it seems clear that we must not allow ourselves to just count on U.S. The Sino-American relationship is still stronger as it is both super powers in the world.

Depend on no ally, but ourselves and never give full trust to any country, especially when it’s a superpower that has U and S capitalized in its abbreviated form.

I want you forever, forever and always
Through the good and the bad and the ugly
We’ll grow old together, and always remember
Whether happy or sad or whatever
We’ll still love each other, forever and always
Forever and always, forever and always

She finishes the vows but the beeps are getting too slow
His voice is almost too low
As he says, I love you forever, forever and always
Please just remember even if I’m not there
I’ll always love you, forever and always

Hi North Korea, you fascinate me a lot.

K. So, the topic we had to work on for our Research Paper tackles about Life in North Korea. The failed rocket launch that NorKor attempted caught my attention and deep curiosity that my group mates and I ended with such interesting topic.

The basics? Well, we all know that North Korea possess a closed economy, a dictatorial form of government, a huge military, a strong anti-imperialist sentiment, a world threat, and of course, one of which possesses weapons of mass destruction.

The fact that it was suspiciously deemed to launch a ballistic missile instead of a satellite in space fascinated me. The accusations might be true—it can possibly be true. According to information I’ve gathered, the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) believes that NorKor might be working on Taepodong II which is a two-stage missile. The first stage appears to be a rocket launched and then the second stage is a single ballistic missile attached to the first stage. It might be a possibility that the failed rocket launch attempt might be Taepodong II.

What annoys me about the government of North Korea is that it can afford to build up a ballistic missile, a rocket, nuclear arsenals, and nuclear weapons, but it refuses to spend for its people’s food. People there are starving for pit’s sake! They eat almost anything, including squirrels, birds, frogs, and even insects! A large number of these people go to their beds every night without enough or even little food inside their stomach. Its government requires its people to do more than enough work but it cannot even feed its own people with enough food.

Diplomatic approach and talks seem to be none of which North Korea seeks for. The U.S. government offers food aid in exchange for NorKor to stop its nuclear programs and such, but they still refuse to give up the work and just let their people starve and eventually, die.

WELL, I HOPE DEMOCRACY WILL KEEP ON HAUNTING YOU, NORTH KOREA.

All I know is that I am absolutely interested in finding out the future for this impoverished country. Will it soon be able to launch a real ballistic missile? Will it give up on its irrational behavior and open its door for democracy? Will it give up on communism and socialism and embrace capitalism? I may not answer such questions in a couple of months to come, but I surely will find out in few more years to come. For now, I have to focus on the research paper :)
